Hello my name is Chris Mergendahl, I'm a junior majoring in Music Business, and minoring in Philosophy.  I have been attending Fredonia for 3 years and hope to finish out my education here as well. I am also a huge fan of music and video games.
My sign says " I need feminism because society says men aren't supposed to feel" and I see this to be true every day.  Constantly men are told especially when growing up that we have to be tough, and we have to hold everything in, many people may disagree with me, but society basically only let's man react with approximately three emotions: those being Happiness, Anger, and Sadness, however the latter is generally only acceptable at funerals, or giant catastrophes, and even then you're supposed to hold it in.  So I need feminism because men should be allowed to express how they feel emotionally without being ridiculed or shut down by people of all genders, not just by the same sex.
