hello! my name is Alexis Smith. I am senior and I am a Communications in media management major. I'm from Campbell, New York and I have lived there my whole life. My dream job is to be the next famous weather woman on The Weather Channel (a girl can dream right?) I played soccer for twelve years and track for five. I also participated in four school musicals. Back home I work at Wegmans and hang out with my friends. And by hanging out with friends I mean trips to Denny's at three am so it isn't very exciting. I hope to move out to Salt Lake City and pursue my career out there.

I wrote "I Need Feminism because my guy roommates are jerks and dont listen to me" I wrote this because being the only girl of a house of all boys causes a battle ground sometimes. and it is me mostly  being rejected because "I am a girl" so this makes me feel disrespected and like I am not important. This is why I need feminism.
