Introduction!

Hello everyone.

I'm Kathryn Haro. I am from New York City and I am a senior English major with minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. I have been a vegetarian for seven years and a long time feminist. I am a very big activist and hope that I can get even more involved in movements that occur this semester. I'm an aspiring novelist and comic book/ graphic novel author. I love coffee and dogs.

I need feminism because there are people who look down upon the notion of women's equality in all forms across the world.

It is very important to consider what life is like for women all across the world. There are still places were women are viewed as being lesser to men, forced into marriage, and face endless abusive because of the structure of the society that they live in.
