Jimmy Snodgrass Introduction

My name is James Snodgrass but I prefer that everyone call me Jimmy. I am a junior Social Work major and Gender Studies minor and I'm from Syracuse, NY. I’ve been through two other majors and two other schools before I came here. After college I plan on working towards Planned Parenthood or an outreach organization or something similar.

My sign reads: I need feminism so certain jobs are not seen as "male professions" or "female professions"

When you think of a job that is usually a male dominated or female dominated field people always throw that male or female tag on it (ex. male nurse, female construction worker, female doctor, male social worker). Adding this makes it seem like that person is less qualified to do that job. Every person is equally qualified to do the same work making the same pay.
