The term I chose to identify my gender identity with is
Femme-All-The-Way-Till-A-Lazy-Day
I chose this term because some days I wake up and feel like dressing fancy and some days I feel like dressing to be comfy. But more times than not I will be in jeans rather than sweatpants. This is because I feel more confident if I am wearing jeans and if I present myself more girly then if I'm dressing down in a more "tom-boy" sense. But then there are those days where I don't care to be dressed up or to look girly, I'd rather just be comfortable in sweatpants or gym shorts.
Personally I just feel confident and more "put together" when I am dressed more on the feminine dressy side. I think this is because I am used to being dressed up so I find it comforting to return to the things I know. The lazy day part comes in from the side of my girlfriend, who dresses more on the "tom-boy" side. She has shown me sweatpants and gym shorts and with this I am starting to feel less foreign when I wear them especially in public. Before senior year you wouldn't catch me dead wearing sweatpants in public. But then I met Katie and now I wear them often, but not as often as jeans. Those are still my go-to, that is why I identify as Femme-All-The-Way-Till-A-Lazy-Day.
