Bossypants

I agree with Tina Feys opinion that photoshopping of bodies is not going away. Its so prevalent in almost all ads that go on. Customers want to see that the product they are getting such as makeup is working and what better way to see that it works than on a model with flawless skin. You may be able to realize that it is photoshopped, but doesn't it make you want to try to the product to see if it works that good? I do agree that we should be able to see products on people that aren't touched up by photoshop but it makes the product more appealing. I don't think we will see it dying out in the near future either because it really boosts the sales of the product and companies aren't going to take the loss in sales just because people don't agree with their methods of advertising. Its not only women that are touched up in ads either, men are touched up just as much. Many of the male models on products such as underwear and  other clothes are touched up and give a man a false sense of what they should look like in that product. While I do agree that the models and ads should be realistic, I dont see them dying out in the future
