Photoshopping

I honestly believe Tina Fey made a very compelling argument about accepting Photoshop. Shes right in the fact that we never know man kind to regress or underutilized as she put it. Once we have effective tools we don't really abandon them we only improve them, especially when it gets people money. So shes right, its almost never going to go away. Honestly we can all sit here and complain about how its used and how its disgusting but reality we can say this all we want but we are all still buying products that fund it, all of us. So the machine the generates these fake photos is always going to be funded because for the most part it works.

However we can do what she says and still use this tool to our advantage. Theres that or we can do what we all seem to think is the way to understanding. educate people. I think all we have to do is educate our children and in this case our daughters is that these are advertisements and not reality. We need to show our children that photo shopped images are nothing more then picture just like the ones in their story books. Their fun to look at but they aren't reality. And yes I can see the slippery slope of kids thinking they are because young kids use imaginative images all the time and think they are real but if you truly educate a person they will know the difference. I cant pretend that even though things are cleaned up with photoshop i want need or want their product. Tina was kind of right photo shop is almost on same level as make up, just part of society now.
